What would you do if you saw the engine from the bike you had sold on ebay stating that it had only done 12000 miles when in fact you have the proof that the engine had done 24000 miles????

....and most likely they'll do nothing!! Watch the auction and contact any buyer, they'll at least have the option to cancel the transaction 'not as described'. Ebay link?

Asked a question re documentation and proof of mileage. Here is reply. Hi I haven't got anything to confirm the mileage but even if I had it wouldn't matter cause then people would still say oh the engine was used in another bike etc. etc. so I gave up on this kind of stuff long time ago however it is easy to tell for an expert this is a low mileage engine also all original parts included and the low mileage is evident on those as well. I've ridden the bike personally and enjoyed every minute of it this 853 conversion is amazing sounds deeper as well due to the bigger capacity. Anyway you'll get warranty and receipt so nothing to worry about.Engine is ready just plug in and play.I've sold 20 engines at least this year so far and everybody is happy.I can do the package as advertised on ebay for 1500pounds on a private deal but you are welcome to bid on ebay as well cheers Sounds like a totally trustworthy guy to me????
He has got the proof, every bit of it. If you do an HPI check does it give you the engine number as well as the mileage?????? Chris.
