Yesterdays hairstyle(might be different today) on BTSpurt reminded me of Adolf. Just needs chaplin soupstrainer to complete. With him being 'rockstar' now there seems to be a severe clash of style.
i cannot agree on that. That aussie twat ruined every race. I was an avid eurosport viewer, and only ever watch ed the BBC coverage if i was not at home.
No I'll back you on that, the BBC coverage was far better produced, slicker, less awkward and some of the interviews Matt got were great. BT Sports coverage is frankly wank. If people had the choice of them side by side, BBC, Eurosport and Bt sport I suspect they'd watch: BBC for pre race and interviews Eurosport for everything else Bt sport if you were drunk and couldn't find the remote
BT sport's MotoGP coverage from Indianapolis on Sunday had less viewers than BSB from Oulton Park! BSB: 110k/0.9%, peak: 181k/1.3% MGP: 86k/0.5%, peak: 155k/0.8% For comparison.... last year's BBC coverage of Indianapolis... 1.20m (6.7%), peaking with 1.35m (6.9%)
To be fair, i only watched the M3 and M2. Matt arrived just as GP kicked off in his unfashionable car and poor timing. Plus i'd just smoked a glass of wine. ahem. Thus i didnt really watch it. Indianapolis is a boring to watch track. M3 was ace and M2 was ok. I much prefer M3.
I always much preferred Eurosport coverage to BBC for MotoGP. To the point I would delay and watch Eurosport rather than tolerate the inferior commentary on the BBC. BT Sport coverage is fine for me, I don't think the technical commentary is as good as Eurosport's was. Their overall coverage is great, you don't miss the other classes and they show the full practice and qualifying. I would have kept Melanie as well, easy on the eye and you need the foil to the dry experts in the studio. The challenge is the figures are so low that the costs of coverage won't be justified. So that probably means changes and I don't think it will be better coverage. That said, Dorna are very shrewd and will find a way to change things.
