When my Red 899 comes I want to put the silver/brushed aluminum corse decal on it . I am leaning towards the one with Italian flag underline rather than the one without. Both links below. Am not sure if the red on the flag will show up on the red bodywork. Just want to be sure it won't look odd. Any one got some pics or examples of corse decals with the flag underline? Also is the size 340mm x 50mm ok? Cheers. Personally I like the set from carbonworld. its just a matter of personal taste but like you have said the red of the flag would probably not show.
Unless the flag version has a border which looks doubtful I would go with the carbon world one Then again it depends what red the decal is Some one on here has this on there 1199 will try to find the thread later as it looks good and you can see the flag Shame you cannot get these in the uk
Think perhaps after looking at the pic although the flag shows, the plain brushed silver decal will be the best and most authentic looking. Thanks for all your input chaps. Bike is being pdi checked tomorrow pm. Hopefully I can pick it up in the evening or Thursday am. Feels like the longest day ever!!!
