More Praise For Yorkshire

  1. After finishing 8th in the medals table in the 2012 Olympics, the most successful Grande Departe ever for the Tour de France, and finishing 5th in the Commonwealth Games medal table Yorkshire has had another accolade bestowed upon it. BBC News - West Yorkshire Boltmaker beer crowned best in Britain :)

    Plus we have some of the most beautiful countryside and roads in the world. :upyeah:

    Bet you'd all like to live here. But you can't. Tough. :)

    think i am gonna head down that way or maybe wales next summer holidays whats a good place for a family with 2 kids.

    how about Yorkshire?

    Sean bean comes form yorkshire, and he's Ned Stark so it's got to be good if Ned stark comes from there.

  6. the boundary of lochaber runs through my garden, i am no stranger to the rain.
    got my sisters horse box/camper i can fit three bikes in there easily, so currently working on a plan.

    I'm not a big fans of kids... But hey, that's my problem.
    That's why I don't mind being 8000 miles away when they are on summer holidays. I'll come back and enjoy the place when they've all gone back to school.
    But seriously - go to Yorkshire. It's a lovely place full of reet gradely folk !

  19. Yorkshire is a big place. Yes it has a few nice spots but it also has its share of shite holes like the rest of us.......

    North yorkshire is the best bit. ;)
