There's a couple of design elements (like the side of seat cowling) that aren't quite to my liking (my fault) but over all I am very pleased... I think its one of those where I need to get it all on the bike and then get any thing i'm not 100% with redone.. The damper doesn't show up to well in pic but if you look at the earlier pic of the ducabike bracket and picture it in that (with a lil black ohlins logo on it.... ) speaking of earlier pics check out what the body work looked like and I think you'll agree that its a very good price for what has been done..
Done some more on the bike today! Yay! No pics though as me phone has shat itself.. Fitted airbox, tank blah blah blah.... But me Woodcraft clipons suck arse now i have fitted the nose. Anyone tried em on this type of bike? They're supposed to work but the bulky fucken bracket fouls the frame and if i move em foward its like a flat tracker riding pos and they hit the screen... They are shit an ave droven me to drink..... Have a set of new woodcraft clipons for sale btw! would suit any other fucking bike than mine... Pm me if you want to get abused....
Did a lil more yesterday! as always the were issues.... The lovely v tech levers from Germany are for a later model, The tank/airbox seal is a new item (original been superseded) and makes the tank sit about 15mm up and looks shit! Resolved the clip on prob (thanks to cranker) but in flipping em to make em work puts the logo at the bottom and pinch bolt on show, which aint really a prob but its a bit naff! Need to track down a length of house for the rear brake (res to master) as the one I have is to short.. Wasted a lot of time fitting the tank seal only to have to remove and use my old one and in trying to line up carbon air tubes and nose cone. But other than that a small amount of progress was made. Todays pics to follow (in no particular order!)
Yea shitty LG phone on account of my ex smashing my nokia.... Paint is good init!!:Cigar: but its getting harder to work on with out scratching anything... Im a lil ham fisted at times!
Cheers mate! All the logos are spayed on. I wouldnt know where to buy those sorry mate, I just sent the painter an image and he weaved his magic!
Looking really nice, I can imagine the urge to start rushing now its so close, put the fairing on just to have a look then take it off again to do some more work, looking forward to the finished bike. Steve
