So what have you done today..?

I took a detour coming home from work today. Went to Loomies for a nice cup of tea and a lovely chat. It was the first time the 750Sport ie has been to Loomies in, oh, about eight years.

Great fun - I do love my 750 and I'm so delighted to have it back

 

Harvested the fig - there's loads more on the tree but I don't think they're going to fulfil their potential this year as it was 3 degrees overnight - last year I had dozens

 

@Char, I take it that that belongs to @figaro? Two questions:

1. Why is there only one of them?
2. Why is it green?

Planning holiday......this morning, got a vaccination in each arm, back next week for more and when I get home, back for another.

I think I'm being injected with every disease know by humanity and a few more for luck.

 

Wouldn't it have been quicker and simpler to get finm to give you a blood transfusion?

Been trying to bend T45 tube for my new projects frame - ruined a bit of tube but came up with a method that gives me accuracy with no distortion, so happy with the trial

 

pondering takes a lot of effort byra way.:smile: next problem what bike to take. deffo not easy being me.

 

Enjoying what is sadly the last full day of our holiday :Arghh:. We have enjoyed some of the finest fresh sea food all week but tonight the teenagers are going into Barcelona for a McDonalds :Vomit:. We however will be going to El Japonese, a Spanish idea of what a Sushi Bar should be and whilst the food is exceptional, it's just a hilarious place to go. The "English" menu has been translated by someone using a dictionary which ends up giving you fish with a "mayonnaise scum" which in real terms is a very pleasant warm mayonnaise foam and meat with wires which I'm guessing is a skewer. Whatever it is we will have a great time and then meet up with the kids after their burger for the train back to Sitges. Had a great time and will be sad to leave but actually it's time to come home. Anyway, the Mutley will be wondering why it hasn't been out so far this last week and I'm looking forward to a ride out on Sunday or Monday if I need a lay in to get over a hard week eating and drinking. Brilliant! Just popped outside to organise the BBQ and there were about 20 storks stalking about in my field! I went to get a closer look but they are very shy and all flew off. I suspected they hadn't gone far and tracked them to the other side of the village where they were perching with their mates on the gantries of the local sawmill. I counted them up - about 60 of them! I assume they are on their way to Africa. They'll spend the night on their gantry and wait for it to heat up tomorrow to fly off. Storks aren't at all native to these parts. Never seen so many. Best thing that's happened all week!
