Any one had the starter button/contacts stick? Switched the ignition on today and the bike started up by it self. Switched off /on and it started up again. Switched it off pushed the button a couple of times Switched back on ..normal No problems for the rest of the day

This happened to me as well and my 899 is only a week old. Don't think it's an issue with the starter mechanism or contacts. I think I know why, and it's a feature designed in is my guess. Bike starts by itself if, you switch off the bike at ignition and NOT using engine kill switch, provided bike remains in neutral and kill switch is not down. If so, when you turn the ignition on the bike starts by itself. Happens everytime. So, if you don't want this to happen always push the engine kill switch down when off.
Contacted the dealer,they are aware of the fault , Going to replace while in having the Termi fitted next week
