There's very few UK towns I wouldn't nuke from orbit, given the chance! Litter strewn shit holes, filled with nasty, feral, little fuck wits....And that's just the old folks homes!
I was born in Frome, Somerset. Its improved in recent years and is now a nicer place, although I haven't lived there for over 47 years. I went to school in Rugeley, Staffs, don't miss it at all.
well what can I say live in Grimsby and the best thing to come out of Grimsby is the a180 believe a recent national survey placed part of it as the worst place to live in England and likely to live 9 years less than anywhere else but at least we have good fish and chips hah
My home town is Wootton Bassett, so yes, very proud. and one of the best bits is that in the past when explaining where I was from I used to have to say " a small town near Swindon" now I don't have to mention Swindon at all, which is always a bonus
Went to college there in the 80's (Frome) Salisbury's OK a 'nice' place to live . Born in Rickmansworth but guess Shaftesbury is where I've 'lived' the most and that's a great little town but not much in the way of job opportunities unless your a farmer or shopkeeper
I know Stroud, I lived near Minchinhampton for 8 years and can categorically state the town is a shithole, albeit it with some real nice folk there. I was born and raised in Guildford. Nice place then, still a nice place now
What I should have said, was lived near to Salisbury for 30 years and now very settled. Great roads for biking, low crime and relatively quiet.
It can get a bit fighty on a Friday night though, I had to do some door work in Salisbury a few years back. I'm gonna have to look up the pub...
The Pheasant used to be the well known pub to buy recreational tobacco products and chaps who bat for the other team at night. Thirty years ago it used to be a nice place for lunch. If you are under thirty you can go into town and have a nice evening as long as you leave by about 10:30 pm
I live just on the outskirts of Bristol on the Severn Estuary. This is the view I get 5 minutes from my house when walking the dog. Only when the tide is in mind...
Someone on here will be happy Funny as I thought it was Chilworth last week until the up and coming rat population was mentioned UK's 'most desirable' postcodes revealed - BBC News
