Three generations of Superbike, at Silverstone with @Nelson and @Matt DWrecker Four generations if you include the 1098 tail unit...
Well picked this up this morning from Winchester, not ridden a Ducati superbike for a while, my 999s in 2007 to be exact, so took a little time to adjust, stalled pulling out of the car park, shit myself with the throttle response going up the road and stalled again pulling out of the junction, so a few clutch lever adjustments and seven mile later I'm playing up the A303 with a Maclaren like this one in the pic, just a tad quicker than the hypermotard, love the throttle response and the handling just need to get used to her now, bought some 848 Matt black lowers for her yesterday so the contrast should look quite nice when fitted, pics to follow. Hope you appreciate my chrome mirrors, the originals are shocking as usual You may also notice the wide selection of bins in the picture for your enjoyment. Ps, I am looking for a mint right hand centre panel for the old girl.
Here's mine too... After a night cleaning session after a race track day at San Martino del Lago (Italy)
My first proper day out on the 1098, went out with a fellow Italian superbike friend, toured the South Wales A roads, learnt a lot today about riding her, she goes like sh*t off a shovel! love it, great to be back on a Ducati Superbike, oh I made sure I got the bin in the pic, using plastic bags at Abergavenny now ;-)
I'm temporarily OTR. 1198 70mm exhausts are boxed and ready for shipping to cam coat. Once they return I shall be on the blower to CJS. The 916 still awaits a set of 748r,996r,998r front discs but i need the money for the 1198. Dammit.
The like is for the rear sets on Nelsons bike. They set the bike off. Looks shit without em.
