Thanks for the offer ACT. Very generous. Don't think I'm being deliberately ripped off. Maybe a lack of knowledge of how to repair radiators. Usually a very good well priced dealership. I think that now that the radiator has this stuff in it and it hasn't worked I'll never really trust it. Was warned it would lose a small amount of cooling ability if the fix had worked anyway. Will go with the new one. Should have posted before the 'fix' was done, could have had the job done properly!
Still send me the rad. I think you'll be impressed with the repair and you could sell it on here or eBay, saving some poor soul a fortune. Not sure on how to remove the resin, but I'll give it a go.
I was talking to someone else yesterday who told me he had wrecked his MTS1200 rad whilst riding in a group, maybe its more common than some think !
