Ebay Pannier Liners

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by sauluk, Aug 29, 2014.

  1. There are three types on eBay (non Ducati), has anyone on here gone for either that they can recommend?

  2. I just use a dry sack, do t see the point of liners tbh

  3. Convenience I suppose, easier to pack up and carry

  4. Tbh I have just got back after 400 miles in torrential constant rain and they didn't actually leak at all, I was amazed

  5. That's good to know, I was tempted just to use the panniers themselves but a bit heavy and awkward to cart around

  6. Had dry linners in my K1200s panniers. Very handy for the reasons given. You could sling them over your shoulder and still carry loads of stuff to your hotel room when touring. Also far less likely to scratch the panniers if you don't keep taking then of and off. Very interested to hear feedback on ebay liners myselfy

  7. i have the ducati ones i would say the benefit is they fit the boxes perfect so if fully loaded they will shut easier I've used dry bags etc but its nice to leave panniers on bike if only doing overnight stop and bag is easy to get in

  8. Hmm ok, still no one who has the eBay ones then? Might just have to bite the bullet

  9. There top I would recommend them. Easier and smarter than bin liners and they don't leak.

  10. Which ones? I just looked at the feedback on the `greatbikersgear' ones and someone left neutral saying they don't fit very well

  11. Yep they are the ones. Water proof and a good fit. Buy them! :)

  12. Alex_gr knows his onions! Place that bid!

  13. Will do! See he's got a best offer, did you guys make one or just buy it now?

  14. Actually, I bought from a good fellow member on this site, a little cheaper but not so much to stop you from buying now. So buy now it is for you me lad! ;)

  15. I think I made a best offer and he accepted. I did not have a problem with the fit in the panniers and I used them in 2 trips, one of them in Europe for 2 weeks, and I used them extensively.

Must admit that have not fully tested the 'waterproof' part but was pretty happy with all the rest.

  16. That's how I like to start the day, but she's not really a morning person.:p

  17. Depends who she's with ;)

  18. I have these and they work really well. Their shape fits well in the panniers, so it's easy to pack because you know that whatever you pack will fit in the panniers, which is the big advantage over dry sacks.
