  1. Thats nasty . You going to need skin graft on that . At a guess . Dont think you will be kneeling on that for a couple of months .

  3. Had skin grafts 2 days after, it held for a week then i lost 25% now ive lost 50%. It currently looks like a big hole in my knee where they cut all the dead tissue away. I wont put anymore pics up as i bet no one really want to see. Even i dont!

  4. Good luck with it . You will get better and as said keep an eye on it you dont want any infection to get in there.

  5. I'll second that, I was just about to have my milk and cookies, I don't feel up to it now.

    Speedy recovery.

    Cheers Gaz

  6. Ugh!........Looks like the remains of an Eton Mess...........hope it heals quickly.....

My silly little injuries are taking about four days to stop bleeding and about four to five weeks to heal.......

The dark area is blood creeping under the skin and the suntan isn't....it's old injury staining......the white marks are all scars from earlier nicks that have healed.

  7. Ouch, that's nasty and one shocked looking cat says it all ! Get well soon.

  8. Wishing you and the bike a speedy recovery.

  9. Yuk - very nasty.
    Hope you get it sorted.
You can use the time off to fix the bike!

  10. Belated GWS and I hope the bike becomes lovely again with minimal effort and outlay.

(Damn, that's a nasty hole and I've known some nasty holes in my time!)

  11. I'd quite like to see it as it is now...

  12. You don't need tank slappers to knock the pads back. the front skitting over the tarmac coming out of a corner, or a bump like the back straight is enough to do it.

  13. Im still not to sure it was the pads, they were brand new and if id have had any problems on the back straight i would have found out after that straight. The ride was all very smooth until the crash. Im sticking with master cylinder problems as its leaking now and its still attached to clip-on with no apparent damage bar snapped lever.
Back from hospital now, who want to see some gore?

  14. If you insist

  15. Here you go!

  17. You'd have thought it would have faded first tho, then gone entirely not gone entirely then come back. Braking into melbourne is pretty heavy, was it fading badly?

  18. On and btw expect to see your pic alongside a 'wear leathers when you ride, or else you get this, it was only 30mph' message on fakebook in the coming months

  19. To be honest it all happen so fast i couldn't say. All i remember was going for the brakes and nothing happened then second pull (the panic pull) locked up and smash me into the floor pretty hard!
