Jon, how did you go from being in love to bye bye so quickly ? 996 - Opinions On This 996? | Page 4 | Ducati Forum
I've never really kept a bike long, I like to change them around a lot. I'm glad I can say I've owned, maintained and ridden a Ducati but the "dedicated" riding position and lumpy vtwin isn't really my thing. That and everyone keeps wanting to talk to me about them everytime I pull up everywhere...one piece leathers on a petrol forecourt get very hot after a few minutes Cheers
Here's Jon reply to my PM, fortunately no more detail regarding sweaty leathers though "There's no particular reason as to why I'm selling the bike. I've already owned a lot of bikes and never seem to keep them for very long. I've not long had vtwins and after riding my friends inline 4 on a ride back from Whitchurch I've decided that I prefer them & the not so "dedicated" riding position. The ducati is a lovely bike and I'm glad I can say I've had the pleasure of owning, maintaining and riding one, but now I just fancy something else. I don't think you should see it as I've suddenly fallen out of love with the bike and I hate them...as that's not true."
