  4. Some good news and some bad - good news is the MRI report showed no obvious abnormalities. Bad news after re discussing my symptoms over the last week and the surgeon analysing the report - the report was wrong! They had missed a narrowing of the nerve channel on my lower vertebrae :(
The not so bad news, borderline for surgery, he's referring me to a pain management specialist to assess me for physio and steroid injections

  5. You have an ology! :Wideyed:

  6. Wont be doing much until the new year, so at least 3 days a week 240 round trip commute.

  7. a Prince 'ology!

  13. Birthday today. I had very a happy time. Finished my book the Jihadis Return which came through the post a couple of days ago. If you want to know what the mad fuckers of ISIS are up to, this brings you bang up to date.
Then tackled about 6kg of Williams pears. You have a narrow window of opportunity with Williams. One minute they are unripe, the next over-ripe. I made a load of stewed pears for freezing and what will be pear jam, and a pear tart (very good!) which was my b'day cake.
Picked up my 10 litres of kirsch from the distillery. It'll be ready for drinking/bottling at about Xmas time (sounds ominous).
Mowed the grass (don't think I can call it a lawn).
A great apéritif, dinner, prezzies and cards. What more could you want for your birthday (apart from the undivided attention of Jennifer Lawrence, but we'll take that as read)?

  15. Followed by PM's paunch?

  16. Keyboard and phone red hot today as I endeavoured to get the ducks lined up and lids on the work. Two hours to do tomorrow (from home) then I'm on holiday until the 22nd. Sunday will heading to Channel tunnel then crossing Northern France, but Monday, having got the grind put of the way, it's playing across the Vosges and over to the Black Forest for a few days. Was Hoping for a bigger tour to the Czech Republic but have had to pull that back. Probably get to Regensberg though. Can't wait.
