Today I've decided to ride to london to surprise my mother on her birthday tomorrow , and cook her a surprise meal. I think i will go across salisbury plain, to the A303/M3, as that is more scenic on a bike than M5/M4.( 'motorways' and 'scenic' , are not often dictionary bedmates, but we are comparing Mways...) Forecast is nice and sunny, should be a pleasant amble.
I did think about it though! Especially when you mentioned watch factories in an earlier post-could do some shopping as well!
Went to the shop to return the 1199 Panigale & they gave me a Streetfighter 848 until Friday or Saturday, it looks like I will be test riding every single Ducati that's on the market until mine gets fixed except for the Panigale R or SuperLeggera lol! Update on the Desmosedici RR that went in for repairs that I posted pics earlier...total damage that needs to be fixed is $54,000.00 I seen the estimate today...wow unreal price!
Yesterday really but crossed the Vosges and now in Germany, hesitated to put this picture up as two non Ducati's are in it. Just debating whether to go to Mulhouse or Strasbourg today.

I went to work, as I will do for the next three days. This is instead of having my week off work. Mother. Fuckers.
Did accountancy and paid bills. Stewed more pears and froze them. Blanched green beans ditto. Then made a quite remarkable potato salad for the first time in my life with some old cooked potatoes that needed to be eaten or chucked out. A quick vinaigrette, a couple of teaspoons of Maille mayonnaise, some chopped chives from the veggie patch. My god! What a result! Never been a huge fan of potato salad, but now that I know it can be this good, all has changed!
