Somerset to London. Nice ride across Salisbury plain. They've resurfaced the road between Chitterne and shrewton since I last rode it. Even bits of the A303 are a bit smoother! Negotiating the open car doors and wandering passengers on the M25 a bit later was entertaining. Traffic chocka cos of an incident. Ride up to the open door and get a gormless look from the passenger / driver-" can u close your door so I can ride past please" seemed to be an intellectual challenge for some..... Ma got a surprise steak and chips cooked followed by choc cake - happy birthday ma.
Productive work day, then a message left saying my gixer is finally ready. So work finished, in garage, sorted out the shelves I broke last night with a hammer (and a bigger hammer) and dug out the bits I have waiting to fit when it gets back. As tidy as it will ever be...
after cleaning and polishing my old mutly went to the oakdene cafe in Kent with some mates ,,unfortunatly mate got taken off by car u turning in a que of traffic ..he is ok broken lever few scratches on his speed triple oh saw a 06 gt 1000 in grey do a massive wheelie well impressed ,getting bit chilly out there on way home
