When there was one public opinion poll showing a tiny lead for YES it was noticeable that the BBC made a huge fuss about this, reporting it as though it had transformed the issue, and omitting to mention that a huge number of other opinion polls had all shown majorities for NO. Some opinion polls are outliers, but the BBC did not report it as such. This coverage was obviously biased, which was rather disappointing.

Vine had them all on today. Independence for Wales. Independence for North Yorkshire. Some guy looking for independence of cities. And there argument is all the same as Scotland's. The welsh guy was livid with Scotland, accusations of collusion and unfair treatment and really later into the yes campaign and Westminster for giving away so much already. The ARC is open...
No it hasn't. Quite the opposite. The point Farage made with his visit was that this isn't a vote for independence at all but a vote to split from England and to exchange the nation status of the United Kingdom for complete dissolution as a district within the EU. Opportunistic politicking? Certainly. But bang on the money.

His point was that Salmond's desire is more to get away from England than to deliver true independence for Scotland because he wishes to take Scotland out of the UK and into full political and monetary union with the EU where the country will have far less independence and national identity than it does now.
I couldn't explain a new GSX-R 1000 for £13,000. Perhaps the seller is trying to get a feel for currency devaluation ahead of the real thing.
that's what i thought,i just wanted it broken down to show it for what it was. farage is trying to make it a race issue, there isnt a more dangerous man in politics right now, boots might have a point when it comes violence on the street, if it's him people are listening to i can start to understand the language that is being used south of the boarder. his views on Europe are well documented with out going into it here. he is a bad man.
I've had an idea. If Scotland votes yes, England could just ignore it and carry on as before with the attitude that "You might want independence, but you're not going to have it." This would be the outcome in most parts of the world: cf Ukraine. The English could also send in troops and quell the pesky Scots - we should know how to do this by now. At the very least we will want to seal off the Trident base by military force. It's too important to the English to be decided by the Scots. I can't think why everyone assumes the English will behave honourably and just roll over. Why should we? There are more English than Scots and we've got more stuff. We could put Salmond's head on a pike and leave it on London Bridge. In any case do you really think the Quoon is going to hand Balmoral over to Salmond? Don't be silly, she likes Balmoral.
