meh. i can see what they were trying to do, but it just doesnt quite have the lines. Not to mention the wrong engine for something attempting to look 'period'. Its too angular for that board racer look.

 

Looks like they were trying to do a Shinya Kimura job on the bike but missed the mark a bit.

 

That bike was on the motorcycle show on itv4 last night. two young lads built it.

 

It's the seat and headlamp that look at odds with the rest of the bike.

 

Yes, the same motorcycle show that said the one armed guy on the 1098/1198 was riding a Panigale. I'm afraid that presenter reporting is just too dull for me.

 

The motorcycle show's host Henry Cole does drone on, but hey it's about bikes.
Which is better than watching a ponce, an old bird who needs her face ironing and two dykes judging cakes!
The bike above was indeed on last nights episode, and was built by two yoofs! based on a 900SS, they took first prize in the custom category at Syon Isleworth.
I know that I'm probably being a bit anal, but Mr Cole also spent the previous 4 or 5 episodes referring to a Yamaha YDS7 as an RD 350, but again it's a bike so fair play for giving us something to watch.

 

He nearly got a smack in the mouth at the bikeshed.cc show. No-one pushes fig out of the way

I'm sure he's a nice fella but his presenting style just makes me reach for the remote.

The show is quite good, in parts, but Mr Cole is just hopeless as a presenter and the producer needs to employ as a technical adviser someone who actually knows what they are talking about (and there are plenty of those around). Better scripting and editing wouldn't go amiss, too.
