Some here obviously have bikes hanging off walls, lounges full of bikes, bikes in the garage, I think some even take the odd shower with their bike. What else do you collect? I collected M51's, N3B's and G1's, I've not many left. Had to sell some to pay for deposit on new house.
You cant even count to one. Let alone write or even own a book. Fibber. Nope. Its my winter warmer. I only wear Alpha. I have owned several MA1's, L2B's etc. Still have some. Including my N3B although i detatch the fur as it tickles yer nose.
Mine is modern. Ive had old ones back in the day. God knows where they ended up. One had The Who painted on the back, the other had a Union Jack which I shinned up Chubb cements flag pole in Dartford to steal.
I was thinking of collecting Ducati signed shirts but they have already bottomed out and started to climb in value evidently :Wideyed:
Military history books both reference and autobiographies and Plastic model kits mainly bikes but also aircraft. Nerd is the word.
My mate who is a fab artist - Moto GP and the like with paintings sold to Rossi, Biaggi and the like has a collection of over 6000 German WW2 Model Tanks!
Works by Robert Bissell (the artist, not the vacuum cleaner maker). Walked past a gallery one evening on the way to a bar several years ago and was gobsmacked by a huge canvas in the window. The gallery owner became a great friend and as a friend of the artist, I now have a small collection of 9 Giclee on canvas or archival paper reproductions and the book collection "Hero" all signed or dedicated to me by the artist. Not to everyone's taste but every piece makes me smile. Andy
