Well said. It's also amazing to think how much GB as a union invented. Most advances, especially the early ones in computer science were British, and something the Chinese, Koreans and Americans don't like to point out is that the chipset that forms the basis of pretty much all smart phones was developed by a little company in Cambridge called ARM which evolved out of Acorn Computers. We are a staggeringly inventive nation, and have engineering and a dedication to quality in our heart (British hifi, Scottish whiskey, saville row suits, British racing cars, all considered the best in their fields) Scotland has always been an integral part of that so it would be a shame to see them leave.
A 10.6% margin is a pretty massive NO, surely? All the flaky wobbling and "knife edge" stuff turned out to be froth.
