Another great well run day...Apart from missing the last session...Grrrrrr...!!! Absolutely thrashed the knackers of my bike down that straight....:Woot: Not may places you can do that without risking time inside or contribution to plods pension fund! I now need to wash the TL1000 oil off my bike! @MrAliT did you did fixed up in the end?
oh dear...fixed up... yep you can get flat stick out right to limiter in top, mechanical sympathy needed on an 848!
Ha! Yeah that TL blowing up meant they had to cancel the quick session before lunch. Nice to see you again @Nelson. Yep got it sorted....just a set up issue on the slipper clutch I'd fitted. The clutch didnt release enough so whilst it was fine at low speed (testing in the alleyway behind my house) once you gave it a handful it was slipping. Just a case of adjusting the cable.........shame the battery then died and I had to get a jump start....was fine after that so a good day all in all.
'Tis an airfield riding day at RAF Odiham (the Chinook RAF base near Basingstoke). Not strictly a track day but good fun to run a bike in a 'spirited' fashion. Odiham Motorcycle Club
