  1. hello everyone,,,,,so after many years i am now coming back to the biker world.. " back in the day " i had a good few and varied types of bikes and covered many many on and off road miles,, finishing up with three years of a
much modded Z1000 mk 2.... great bike but after a few heavy offs decided to hang up the helmet before it hung me up,,,, but over the years some of my friends kept theirs and stayed alive so i haz decided i m now cautious and experienced enough to go safely back on a bike.... as you may guess i am set on a Ducati and after months of consideration have decided to go for an `05 on 749 s bip..( not the single swing arm one which i dont like the look of ) ..Still got a few things to arrange tho.. full licence ( !! ) , garage/shed all the gear etc etc then find a nice example, tho there does seem to be a few around....i have heard a few stories that they have a few inherritant problems, eg, electrics, rear sub frame on bip. cam belt, but i do like them,,dont want another big heavy thing and outright speed is certainly not one of my priorities..any advice on buying would be much apreciated.... R

    You don't have a stutter
    You don't have a licence
You don't take your work home with you
    Your TT does a Ton
