Did you know - it's actually cheaper to get a budget return flight to New York and buy an iPhone 6 there than it is to buy one in the UK... True story !
I really cant see what the fuss is all about, I played with a iphone 6 yesterday and it didn't do anything differently than my 12 month old HTC. I think smartphones top end have reached a level where none does anything better or worse than the next one. Unless there is a big jump I can see me keeping my hand set past the upgrade date and just try to get the monthly cost down.
I recently went 4 to 5S. Should have just gone SIMM only. Only tangible benefit I can see is a talking SAT NAV.
Back in the 80s I worked for an Apple 'Grey Dealer' They had a contact in the US who purchased Apple Macs and shipped them to the UK where we sold them at two thirds of the price of official Apple Dealers. That's when they were still a specialist 'Niche' computer used by Publishers and Musicians.
My wife got a Cubot S222 CUBOT S222 5.5 inch IPS HD OGS Capacitive Touch Screen: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics Quad Core, 5.5 Inch Screen, dual Simm. 'Vanilla' Android so no annoying 'extra' apps or fesaturesso good stable fast performance. Well made and reliable with a good screen Only £110
After reading the reviews I bought mine a Moto G for about the same price a couple of months ago when she was over from Prague (were separated) you tight wad, what's your excuse
my IP4 is both broken screen and messing about not working that well, due a free upgrade, thinking IP5s on the cards
