All quarries have been involved in litigation at some point,it was then that hse was a given "good thing",now we are all trained to the highest levels,their job is basically monitoring that standards are kept,as it should be,but then a new unending form of h+s has grown since as it became obvious there was no more money to be made on existing standards and so we have daily new rules and regs covering everything from drinking coffee to wiping our arses. This hasnt come from workers inability to do such things nor has there been any accidents or litigation worries from said activities. The h+s "officers" arent from the company,they are from the HSE direct,the inspections are from the very same people,so not crap at all. would suggest following up on those involved in the mining and quarry department. the courses are directly inserted into the companies training curriculam by members of the hse,the notepaper is headed hse the countless videos are headed hse etc etc.. the unions have already removed the company hse tits(who have taken YOUR courses in order to be allowed to Preach hse,ie with your consent and materials ) from having any involvment with training as it had become a joke and the company became aware that litigation could come from below as well as above. as for going to the unions you obviously have no idea of a workers position,obviously didnt take notice when maggie destroyed the unions or in fact do know this and seek to cover it all up with name calling and related childish behavior. doesnt wash im afraid,hse started this,fixed what needed to be fixed,well done,and then went on to recruit more hse "officers" to go out into the world and fk it up. hse trained them,hse promoted them,now hse has to sort it,not us,not the companies, that strive to be the best they can. we're all busy working for a living,not fixing others runaway fkups. cant be assed re-iterating(big word for a digger driver eh?) the same stuff over and over so thats me out now,if you fail to see than youre either blind,stupid or indeed know full well whats going on and have gone Nimby. getting upset only does your other "good" posts a diservice.
It's ok With kids these days not going out to play and learning to keep safe and each other safe Health and safety will do the job for them quite nicely Your all the guinea pigs ready for the teenagers about to enter into the nasty world of unsafe
