Decided that the rear subframe greyish colour on my SP doesn't blend with the rest of the bike so having it powder coated red to match the front… Also doing a few other bits while i'm at it so keep your eyes peeped chaps haha! All stripped today and being done Monday….Pics to follow
OK chaps, job done….what you think ? Also added some black & white vinyl to match in with the front fairings…. Did a few other bits while i was at it and fitted new boots
Had a few Dorsoduro's over the years but the latest is the Tuono V4….Missed my supermoto style of riding though...
Thought I recognized the garden! that Tuono was immaculate - my other bike is an rsv4 factory - keep eyeing the Tuono's though....they look good fun...you had a dorso as well... My only issue is with that pipe...while id normally agree termi is the defacto standard for a duc.....the sc project pipe is way smaller....
I prefer the termi myself and think it suits the bike (imo) The TV4 is fun compared to the RSV4 but is still a little too serious and the pegs are in the same "Race" position and killed my legs after some distance hence heading back to supers…. …. Loving this bad boy Perfected the TV4 into a "Factory" and also did the same to my Dorso…..see pics below No doubt i will do the same to the Duc…. Well known on the AF1 forum…
Very nice - both of them....my mate currently has an old tuono (53 plate) factory and also ironically a Dorso 1200 - he's really pleased with both....wish I could keep mine that clean!!
Hate to say it but both them aprilias make the duke look boring, looking forward to see what you do to the hm.
Well. The third Aprilia factory colour is blue...I was introducing a bit of blue... You can't really see there but there's a blue samco hose kit and not fitted there but is now are some blue hel lines....
Ahhh did not know about the blue link, good thing there is not a Aprillia dealer near to me (or most people come to think of it)or i am sure i would have in my garage by now.
Yup. I any really think of anything that would replace it apart from an aprc version.... Or maybe a Panigale but the Panigale doesn't come anywhere near this thing on engine noise! The blue.... Well that's ceramic coating... They offered blue, or black.... Blue was a little different... Does make it stand out...
Your right fella, they are pretty bikes and not much to do to the hyper in comparison….. In saying that, heaps of carbon available but bloody pricey for the Mcoy stuff :Jawdrop:
The aprc system on the V4 is amazing….. I keep hearing people saying you don't need it but it is fantastic and the quick shifter is the dogs and sooooo addictive
That's one of the things I wanted (a Quickshifter) - not for any performance reasons - just for the poppy bangy noise!
