It's a shame he's not updating any more.....I wanted to know what it was like from him rather than listen to the uninformed opinions of those who said it would be unridable or that it was a waste of money. Could you let us know how it goes @mygreenalien? I expect like a whipet with a stick of dynamite up iit's arse
Considering that MGA is based in the Middle East, it doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to narrow down what he potentially does for a living now does it? I'm sure that he'll update us when its a good time to do so. As Steve's (MR) reputation could be on the line here too. I don't think that he'd build a shit bike that would blow up on the Dyno. As its effectively as WSBK bike, MR would've taken advice from Ducati Corse, after all some of the parts are now fitted. Lets see what happens when MGA is back online, he should've had the bike back and at least would've had a chance to see things for himself first off. After all its his bike and he paid the money etc. I agree with Kope999R comments here. I have no doubt that MGA wouldn't just leave without showing the finished product, he also could be waiting for a Trackday. I would suspect however that he would have to be seen to protect various info on the bike especially between MR & Ducati Corse.
it didn't blow up, and IMHO creating rumours it did, which can damage reputations, is childish and irresponsible. If the fella wants to share the final outcome, he will. If he doesn't its a shame. But it is his..
Do you know this.........so what happened? I dont see what all the cloak and dagger stuff is about....personally i dont really care either way, but it is a bit like reading a well documented open book, when all of a sudden the punch line at the end has not materialised.... secondly the silence came before the speculation.........
Sort of missing the entire point of having and building an incredible personal bike. If you just want to count your cash, buy a secondhand 600 instead of a Ducati or superbike and go on holiday with the change.
yes but weve had step by step all the way and as soon as its ready to go to dyno we here nothing its bound to cause speculation , got to be a brave man anyway to buy an S/L and strip it to the bones and want more,,
To be honest it's all about our close knit dysfunctional community, no issue with the money he's had to throw at it and that he hasn't the time, inclination or ability to carry out the task himself. Not many would be able to do a lot of what he's having created (and I do include me in that by a country mile). The fact is he felt he wanted to share it on this forum presumably for all our interest and admiration for the bike itself. And whey not, I think most appreciate that he did. But to stop communication now isn't cricket, although there maybe some good reasons he hasn't been able to of course. But to be fair it doesn't take a minute to do so and as he has found the time to post elsewhere, you cannot blame people for their speculation in my opinion. Just my two penneth worth - but an update would be appreciated
thanks for your input..... exactly.......and there is more defence being thrown up than at a jackson trial.....with about the same amount of substance...
