Popped into Metropolis today. Interesting conundrum for someone.

  1. Saw a chap looking at a Panigale and a 1098R.

Got me thinking what would you go for? Me, it would be the R everyday, however, the Pan was properly comfy. Got some funny looks sitting on the Ducati wearing my cycling kit :big grin:

Oh, and the reason for my visit? Buying some new leather trousers. After 14 years, mine have given up. Good news tho - down a size :upyeah:

...and my buddy told me that Jenson Button was in trying to buy a Desmo that the owner couldn't bring himself to sell.

  2. is that so Jerry? [IMG]

  4. Jerry, why slum it with the proles? Surely you'd get both?

  5. How much was the 1098R - can't see it on the web site, there is a second hand 1198R for £24K though :Wideyed:

  11. He wrote and posted the original thread two and a half years ago (12th April 2012 to be exact). HTH :)

  12. Yes but how did Chris find it from two years ago - he must have been bored...

  13. This thread is old and yet it has almost no miles on it! WTF?

  14. Jerry, Jerry.......?
The name rings a bell

  15. Nonsense, it's at least 10,000 years old, and built by aliens.

  18. Umm ...

    Too soon?

  19. He should be out now. Wonder if he's got some of them gloves everybody raved about

  20. Ive got this honda manual. Should I get it indexed and laminated? Its the 1st edition 750 Shadow manual where they showed the gear selector spring the wrong way round. Very rare. :Woot: I'm worried about Moths. They've been having such a hard time lately and my manual must appear as appealing to them as it does to me. Should I stop worrying or just sort out my button collection instead? :Nailbiting:
