first time overtaking unmarked Subaru on double whites in slow moving traffic(completely my fault and I don't normally do it). second time speeding 57 in a 50.
I thought I remembered the Via Gellia as being in the Appenines just east of Rome. Wrong - turns out it's in the Pennines just west of Matlock. So easy to confuse the two.
Cold here at work today sat with my coat on - wind is finding its way into the building and no heating , summers over but what a blinder we had Gym and sauna lunchtime to warm up
waterstones is a great place init. the wife's birthday this week got every thing i need there, a book called the lewis man by peter may. just noticed the good guy is named after me. got an ian banks feel about it. the black pudding bible. canny beat it. and a wooden puzzle rated hard which means she don't get the main prezzy until she has solved it. should take about a week mefinks. and they wrapped it all. sorted. good husband.
The local school phoned me today and said "your son's been telling lies" I said " Well, tell him he's bloody good - I haven't got any sons"
Well I've been to the wilds of Lancashire for a meeting, then drove over Snake Pass to Sheffield. Christ that was tortuous. Then had to find car parking in Sheffield which was a pain in the arse. Meeting in Sheffield was ok though. The drive home was tortuous again.
Not today, but over the weekend Nicky and I were privelidged to attend Butch and Pixie's wedding. It was a fabulous weekend and a wonderful wedding between two great people. Thanks guys for the invite and we wish you all the best for your future together!

I made the mistake of sleeping with my mobile phone under my pillow last night. When I woke up this morning, it was gone, and there was a fifty pence piece there instead. I hate that feckin' blue-tooth fairy
Well today has been decidedly mixed. Work has been decent and quite industrious. Then late this afternoon the estate agent selling my late dad, and my mums bungalow emailed to say that they'd had a good offer on the place, after it'd been over priced for the past 15 months thanks to my money hungry sister and husband insisting it was worth more than the other properties in the same road because of its location in the cul de sac. My brothers and I have decided to accept the offer and my poisonous greedy sister has decided to reject the offer. All for the sake of £5k. I'm fucking fuming as to her stance, but as I live a couple of hours away from her I'm gonna let my brothers deal with her.
Day two of my MSP course, I think it is designed to make you believe you have a brain like a sieve. Homework tonight was two practise exam questions and read four chapters, took me 3 1\2 hours. My eyes hurt.
