I bet there were a fair few threats of litigation flying around this morning for it to be retracted that quickly.
There was a slight mix up, he was seen leaving Yamaha HQ in Millan with a huge smile on his face... honest!
Some French tosser hacked Niall McKenzie's twitter acc, then linked it to a false Niall McK email address and sucked in some media guys, then got a case of the guilts and confessed. So the whole story is bullshit, Vales on hols somewhere, wasn't at Yamaha. ( Apparently ) It was probably Alain Prost ( just finished watching "Senna" so still p.o. with him ! )
But I reckon it's just a matter of time - he's running out of time and Rossi/Ducati haven't made enuf progress this year. Deal done imo.
According to this weeks edition of Motorcycle News, Elvis is going to ride the Yamaha. He's been on a diet, passed his CBT and he's ready to go. The team will be managed by Benito Mussolini and the there will be a new Ducati satellite team riding updated Cucciolos. Sources within Ducati say the engine is a little down on power but it gives great MPG. The riders have yet to be announced for the satellite team but Rasputin and the first female MotoGP rider, Florence Nightingale, are due to test the Cucciolo this week around the streets of Wigan. The route will be around the cobbled streets surrounding the Uncle Joes Mint Balls factory. The new test location was chosen by Dorna as a cost saving measure and as a way to make the high-tech MotoGP bikes more relavent to everyday road bikes. In other news, NASA's Mars probe Curiosity sent early indications that the surface is a giant mozarella cheese and tomato ciabatta. Pret A Manger have signalled they plan to mine the surface by 2050 in an attempt to supply their ever growing chain of upmarket sandwich bars.
I wish you would take this thread seriously Everyone knows the Mozeralla mining equipment has been under wraps at Area 51 since the 50's and the mining is already going on. Captured pizza that fell to the earth in Roswell leaked the technology. Blimey get with it guys
I can't believe uncle Joe sold out so cheaply I told him to wait for an offer from Bernie Ecclestone...
It's back on.....was it ever off? August 15th apparently, so may as well put him on leave and get an interim rider surely? This Time For Real: Yamaha To Announce Rossi Signing On August 15th | MotoMatters.com | Kropotkin Thinks
What a pile of crap! Read it again and see if you can find any 'facts' at all. Whether it turns out to be true or not, I'll not subscribe to 'journalism' of that sort as long as I live.
Motomatters is actually generally well informed and I find him quite neutral at times. Facts or not I still reckon its true and happening but I guess we'll all know on the 15th won't we But let's say it is true, then what, half a season left of Rossi with one eye othe Yamaha, what's the point in that..... It's a tough one
This season's a total write-off for both Rossi and Ducati, so I don't suppose it much matters what happens as long as a quick decision is given, allowing both parties to make reparation. I still can't see Rossi getting a factory Yam or Honda. I guess we'll see soon.
Is the correct answer, it's all over bar the shouting - they've just been working out how they were going to tell gorgeous Jorge
Few fact's well 99%. Furusawa has declined ducati's offer to replace perizosi! as he enjoys his retirement and the quiet life. (his own words) Rossi will now sign for yamaha . Ducati will loose most if not all sponsorship to yamaha and yamaha will use the "Welcome Home Valentino" to their full ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ good move for yamaha.
Also (but i think it's BS) Spies will be dropped after the Indy race and Rossi will take his ride with the blessing of ducati as they have broken their contract wit vr!
And that cock that's running around on his R1 painted in Ducati colours can spend some more money avin his bike painted the right flavour again, the cock!
I think its' inevitable now. Rossi doesn't have time to make the Ducati work for him, indeed he may never get it to work how he wants however long he stays there. Ducati need a younger rider prepared to take bigger risks and i would add possibly go back to the Carbon frame as well.
