You could almost be me.....had bikes, then girlfriend, then more bikes, then houses to renovate, then marriage, then kids, more houses to renovate then back to bikes.... Welcome.
nasty thing life...gets right in the way of enjoying your self! yes did the cars thing, could get away with that because she could drive them!
i am an ex tig welder...although still got all my kit in the garage and keep my hand in. ac/dc 200 amp watercooled set up so i can do the ali side of it aswell i hope.
Never done cars....from the word go ( kicked out at 17 ) I've only had cars out of necessity....I will make one allowance for that comment....years ago we had a Renault 5 GT turbo the raider edition ( the metallic blue one) which was amazing ...like a turbo charged roller skate....she had that and I had my 7/11.....then we had kids.....then the GT went and I got a clapped out old cavalier covered in rust...
i like cars, vans , tractors! been around the ring a few times, bloody bikes in the way on the bends! ive always off roaded. hence the 990 adventure...not many things that'll do 120 mph to salisbury plain, 80 mph on tracts over salisbury plain then fall off a few times with nothing more than a scratch then blast home! the bike im building for posing...like most ducatis and practice as id like to play with bikes more than a hobby
Yeah. Me too...I'm currently building a KTM 525....enduro to supermoto conversion with a few twists...its had money poured into it over the last 4 months and not one thing is connected to another at the moment....and I still have another thousand quid to throw at ...
