  6. My road registered 06 Honda CR 250

^ I put the öhlins rear shock, pro circuit pipe and shorty back box on it. It's going thru a serious build at the moment, it's become a bit of a money pit.

^ I fitted new lines, EBC rotors with galfer braking pads. It did have the de-cat headers running the Akrapovic megaphone, I put it back stock as it was insane loud.

  11. My GSX-R and my beloved MV Agusta F4 312RR these are both current and snuggle up to the 1198. The Speed Triple left to make way for the 1198.

  15. Love love love the Agusta. There is a very cheap F4 750 for sale at the moment at under 5k, but it's really very shabby. Highly exotic bikes.

£5k for a 750 is strong money for a nice one let alone a tatty one. Performance wise a stock non special edition performs about the same as a modern day 600 or thereabouts. If you look carefully you can find an early 1000 for £5k too. I have just looked at my 312RR and realised that it actually makes my 1198 look dull and plain which is a brave statement.

  17. 750's were selling for more than 1000's this summer and are on the rise - I got a 4000 mile minter 750 for £5,100 18 months ago but would struggle now for a similar deal.

  18. I've been looking with a budget of up to £7k and couldn't find anything that even approached the standard i required for much under £6k

in the end the lure of a new Benelli tornado 900 was too great and I put my deposit on one of those instead

I see that we are both in Milton Keynes. I have long had a soft spot for the 900 Tre but found the clutch a bit heavy for me. However they look drop dead gorgeous. Perhaps we can get together for a ride out sometime ?
