  1. Now that I have my 750SS project back in the garage, I thought I'd post a few pictures of as it now looks without its clothes on.

So there is plenty of evidence to suggest that the local wildlife had been using the bike to store its/their winter provisions, and then I took off the air box lid and found this -

A close up of the nut in the foreground reveals this -

So whilst most people have bats in the belfry, I have had Glis Glis in my air box.

  6. As my first project oh yes

Thats the intention Viv to restore her back to her former glory. TBH the body work is in quite good nick

Careful that remark resembles my project :) As she has been living under a tree for the past fifteen years she's a bit rough round the edges but I think I can bring her back

    Mick..

  9. Wow! :Wideyed: my project started with nothing but a bit of T45 tubing from a wholesaler I can't help thinking it's easier than yours!

  10. Ps - are those garden sheers in the 4th pic? Did you have to cut it out from the bushes under said tree.....?

    Mick..

  11. [IMG]get some of this...get lots of this.

  12. Not quite, it was being kept company with a Harley and a Triumph 1200 Trophy

  13. Already started spraying this liberally around the frame :upyeah:

  14. GO ON SON!!!! liking ya spirit! mine was no where near (NO WHERE NEAR!!) as bad as that but still required every nut n bolt n bit removing and replacing or refinishing so I've some idea of the work involved. You've gotta be a rich man with plenty of time on your hands or a patient tenacious fvker! either way i wish you all the best and look forward to the progress reports (in what ever time frame). All the best!:upyeah:

  15. Thanks for the support chizel

  16. Wowsers
I suppose the upside is that there really isn't that much to them really !!

Some stuff will be easier to replace than recondition I suppose? - those forks look, well, forked!
Have the squirrels been nibbling the loom? that would be the first search I'd save on ebay.
Best of luck with it and please, do share :upyeah:

  17. agree

    cant wait for the rest

  18. Got some work there.

I'll be watching this with interest, good luck. :upyeah:

  19. Far Knell !!

Still, after a couple of hours with some WD40 and a couple of rattle cans it can go on ebay.....
