I would stay away from Hastings Direct, I had a 748 for a day before it was stolen and set fire.. Hastings are likely to refuse payout because it may have had a performance enhancing ecu chip inside.. i told them it had upgraded arrow slip ons and said i don't know if its modified at all (not collected the bike at the time) and was a Ducati beginner back then. Anything to get out of paying..

Are you after the cheapest leathers and tyres too? I've got some used and part worn respectively that may or may not fit, but that doesn't matter because they're cheap
I always go for the cheapest insurance because the sell fuk all and are all as bad as each other in any given circumstance. Not like you can make a judgement as you hear shit about them all.

My comment was directed (lightheartedly) at the OP's apparent pain and hardship of owning the mutts nuts but struggling to find reasonable insurance or affordable phone lines. Hence, humblebrag.
