1200 2014 Skyhook Issue....of My Making??

  1. "the system 'irons' out these uneven surfaces" mine doesn't seem to, before I picked it up today I felt every ripple, dimple and kink in the road, does seem a bit better this evening but still not as good as when I first collected it before I did the battery disconnect, dealer says its running as expected and they compared it with their demo back so only option is another dealers opinion if still not happy with it, as it stands Ohlins with SCU gives a far better ride, love to know what's changed since I collected it as the ride was really smooth, now I,m just getting more pi@'ed off with it

  2. ok...just thought of another test, the suspension is inactive/solid/still when the bike is not 'fired up' right?...when the bikes started and your sat on it is the suspension reacting to your weight/body movements?...if so I'm guessing it's working!

  3. When sat still if u go urban to sport it enduro do you feel it stiffen and lift?

  4. I,ll let you know tomorrow when I get to have a play with it, in the meantime sit back and wait for the wisecracks to start regarding your description lol, thanks for sticking at it Bradders:)

  5. Yep, solid when off, then reactive when ignition is on and when engine is running, before I got it back it stiffened up once on the move and remained rock solid and harsh, seems a bit better now but not what it should be compared with other sky hooks I've ridden, any local boys near Bristol want to try it out for comparison!

  6. ....before you reply with an innuendo.....Yes it does! I usually try this process late at night!
Urban to Sport TO Enduro! Yippee.
    Keep us posted.

  10. I haven't had a chance yet, things are so busy at work I haven't had a chance, but yes riders would be where I go normally, but if I'm being honest I don't find them the best.
    But where else ??

  11. Could do Marlborough about lunchtime, or devizes.

If weathers good am happy to ride 2 hrs or so to a meet point Sat, wherever doesnt bother me long as the roads there are good enough and not mway type shit

  14. ...Chard/Crewkerne is 2 hours ride for me, could be fun apart from the M5!, whats Frankie saying?
