If you're an Instagram user I'd suggest following pholje for some really nice photos out and about in Sweden... Instagram
In 1971 Ducati toyed with the idea of building triples, and bought a 350cc three-cylinder design from Ricardo (a British company). It was not successful and was dropped in 1972 - the exhibit you pictured is the relic. If it had been successful, Ducatis might be more like Triumphs are today.
The early V4 was in the Ducati Apollo, built as a bike for/by the USA distributor, including as a police bike, but it had too much power for the tyres available, it smoked them and they disintegrated.
Lets hope they don't resurrect the name Apollo when they finally make one - although ET could change his name to El Apollo to suit his new bike
He's gonna have some rear tyre clearance issues with that, by the looks of it. If he ever rides it.. Weirdly, I quite like it :Bag: MICK..
