Keep telling you lot those bloody Ducati riders are bunch of ill, ill, ill, illusionists sorry meant illiterates
Yep John it's a 2001 996s biposto had it 5 years and it's only done 8500 miles I've known the bike since previous owner bought it new, haven't used it on the road properly this year just a quick blat round the block, Sunday best Paul....... All I can say is 200bhp electronically limited to 186mph, sub 10 second 1/4 mile, clocks don't mist up, the back brake works, the forks don't knock, the screen works as standard, I can drive through town at 30mph in 4th gear and still pull away without the jigger jigger jiggger, if I wanted all the above if have kept my Fugglystrada
.....Still Ugly....and surely you should be comparing it to the Leggy...not the Mutley.... I couldn't cope with the riding position....way too much lean forward....if I could I'd be on a Hy-abuser.
You wouldn't fit either your stomach would hit the tank and your arms aren't long enough Insult my bike ya insult me, bring it on fella lol....... Joking aside I bought my 1200s tourin too do just that, but the Mrs came down with fibromyalgia, and didn't find it too comfy, that was one of my reasons getting the big Z, too use more for myself, but I'd only had it 3 weeks and had done over a 1000 miles through France Belgium etc with the mrs on the back and she said it was more comfy and smoother than the Mutley so for me it's a win win, and still got 2 other Italian machines 3 if you count my Fiat Panda
