Holy smokes Carl, that looks awesome. Love the front end and the switchgear, clip ons etc. Very business like! Keep it rubber side down and more pics when you have them. I'm still waiting on bodywork for my much humbler project.
I take it you watched the vid nefore trawling posts for filippant comments...he's catching the guys at a rate and quikder thr the corner yet when the power comes in they are dragging off. Having seen Dave on his, it outdrags almost everything in the fast group on a trackday and this makes way more power
I'm not as I was taking it easy as previously said. Max throttle used was 75% and on this run rolled on very easy and down that straight was resting me forearms. Save judgement when I can pin throttle.
Bradders unlike others I don't trawl post to I can make flippant comments, It was just my opinion I thank you .
Yeah - completely understand. As said before, it was my first track day in 11 months, on a new bike and trying out me new forearms - so in all honesty, a shit load to take on. However, I really am pleased with how it went. Going round this circuit configuration lowest gear I was in was 3rd, highest was 5th - coming out of the corner where you see the bikes get ahead, I'm in 3rd gear and rolling on nicely and then not using full revs to give myself a rest. I think the best part to see potential of bike is where I catch up coming out of the bowl (just before I overtake) - I was opening her up a bit (75% throttle) in third and it shows what its gonna be like . I think its gonna be a few more track days before I fully light her up and I can't wait!!!
Nice pic taken from a mate. Feel Body position can come further off though. Will try some things out next time.
