  1. So, I had a bid of £215 inc postage on some new Gilles Rear Sets but then noticed some new Harris ones that I think I preferred. Did a deal on the Harris ones (£160 delivered) and ended up winning the Gilles ones too.

    Opinion poll - which look best?

    They are going on my KR1000 replica No2 with modern blingy wheels, suspension and brakes.

  8. You miss the fact I am building two :Happy: one a 're creation' as close the original and I will be reverse engineering the original rear sets. The second is a replica but using modern running gear - Ohlins Radial Forks, Forged Wheels, Penske Shock etc - these are for this version.

  15. not sure i agree... really wanted to say harris as i have em on my 748 (albeit a very different style) but i think the gilles look better.. more understated and purposeful (dont like the carbon heel plates though) the harris look a lil bit blingy though still very nice!! tough call...
