It was fine today, minor flooding, standing water, leaves everywhere, dark etc. I allowed for textiles but no other concessions made. Just back so about six hours mucking about on the bike while others played on a forum...
A few incidents today, you have to have your wits about you more than dry summer days that's true. I had a quad bike spin 180 in front of me on a roundabout. There were a couple of quads pushing too hard with little grip so I wasn't so close I couldn't brake and go round OK. Any overtaking or cornering with wet channels of leaves needs a bit of thought. I'm not saying it's as fun but you learn to focus and try and think about things that dry conditions wouldn't create. It possibly helps improve skill levels but the reality is simply I'd prefer to do something than sit home alone.
Yes Aircon satzoomer is wrong again as there is a separate thread about Guy Martin on channel 4 now. Excuse him
I particularly liked the fact that you signalled to others your intentions early enough to allow them to join you.
This thread is filled with tripe these days. If you look back, I posted I was out earlier in the morning and then again before I left. We need a group chat function to do a quick clarion call.
