  1. And what specific road offence? The feet were twirling at less than the NSL, the feet were mobile, but they are not a handheld device, and no calls were taken on my toes.

  2. But you admit to having them in your ears? I'll have you know we take toes in ears whilst in charge of a motor vehicle very seriously. Presumably you were using both hands to operate said toes, no?

  9. I saw Deee Lite back in the day at the Montreux Jazz. Followed by George Clinton; a concert I actually had to walk out of in the end, as by 3am they had no intention of stopping and I had to get up to go to work the next day.

  11. Later with Jools Holland was very good this evening.
On the strength of it I have just ordered the new Floyd album The Endless River which will be good car music for nostalgics like me. I have also ordered the new Bryan Ferry album which sounded very promising (big Roxy Music fan) and the album from The War on Drugs (never heard of them). Anyone playing a Gretsch White Falcon deserves to be listened to (unless they are playing country and western music on it). It sounded very Dylanesque.

I was also listening to the live Siouxsie and the Banshees album Nocturne again a couple of nights ago. Phenomenal, so as I only have the vinyl, have ordered the DVD. I want to know how Robert Smith plays that stuff.

  13. New Foo Fighters!
    Sonic Highways. EPIC!

  14. So, how good is it really?
I have ordered it. I didn't bother getting The Division Bell (I have Pulse and A Delicate Sound of Thunder in any case) and I was given A Momentary Lapse of Reason which I barely listen to. I naturally didn't bother getting the gloomy Final Cut and I don't much like The Wall which is also bloody gloomy. Much prefer Dark Side, Wish You Were Here and the earlier stuff. I don't have Animals either - I don't think they were at there most inspired here.

  15. Thanks for the suggestion, finny!
