1200 New Multistrada

  1. There is a non-sky hook version as well, vj60.

Bikes are already listed on the Ducati website.

    Models - Multistrada

  2. It seems to have white LED lights on the handguards as well as Orange LEDs as Indies.

  3. Base bike has no skyhook, no colour screen and no LED headlights.

  4. Well they have done everything I asked, except the Tyre Pressure monitor :(, clever marketing packs you need some of everything :(

There is a lot to go wrong though that is for wure :(

  5. I'll even consider one, if the fit and finish proves up to scratch: of my four 'modern era' Ducatis, my '10 1200S has by far the worst finish. In fact, my '80 Pantah stood up to British weather better, and it lived outdoors! If Ducati had got their act together to support owners (especially those of us who ordered the Multi 1200 sight unseen and a year before launch), then my order would already be in. As it is, I'm waiting…

  6. They are cretins! A lot of progress, yes. But why have the adjustable seat height start from the current and already too high setting for most of us,pure stupidity!!! It should start from around 810-815mm. For that single reason alone I will not have one, arseholes.

  7. The Ducati Multistrada website gives details of the front break and rear break (!), oh dear.

  8. They're doing an 805mm seat now.

  9. THey have managed to make an ugly bike even uglier. And I say that as the happy owner of a MY13 1200ABS. The 2010 bikes in white look great but this new model in white with the red frame reminds me of a SUzuki Gladius. Hideous. hopefully it'll look better in the flesh. Will doubtless take one for a test ride though.:D

  10. Why do manufacturers insist on using "hearing aid brown" clutch covers? We just want everything black thank you.

  11. That is what I was told by a Ducati dealer a few weeks ago, hence my dismay after reading the very poorly translated Ducati blurb that states a seat height starting at 825mm. I might owe an apology then?

  14. I'm angry again then, should be adjustable from low to high.

  15. it adjusts from 845 to 825 and then 805 with the acc seat

  16. Looks like there is dedicated switch for the heated grips, which is nice I think

They said the new luggage is Touratech but it looks just like the current Givi (unless Touratech make Givi?)

  17. Also looks like the screen has a bend / lip at the top, that should help with wind noise and comfort. I'll give it 6 months before considering a possible 3rd Multi but it does look like they have made useful improvements all round.

  18. The engine would be the one factor that would make me change my 2011 Touring. The other changes are mostly common sense but not enough to make me change on their own. A test ride awaits.
