  3. bit pissed off, really... they flogged me bike for £20k , used me and others as a guinea pigs: ive had every single problem discussed on the forums on my pani, now my bike is out of warranty and they announced new model which presumably had all pani issues addressed (thanks to c*nts like me) and de-valued my bike by about £10K
other than that all is good

  4. I'm really looking forward to seeing some reviews of the new Panigale. I love how raw the current bike is but I'm starting to think that I would welcome the new electronics to make it easier to ride at it's limits. I knowingly choose the wildness of the Panigale over the friendliness and ease of riding bikes like the Fireblade but sometimes I miss being able to just crank it as hard as it will go without having to be cautious of something unpredictable happening.

  5. The new R1 design is bland. If it didn't have R1 plastered all over it you'd think it was a Honda.

  6. Agreed on appearance I'm disappointed with the r1 .

  7. Yeah, likewise. I've always seen the R1 as the one jap bike with a bit of italian flair about it in the looks department. The latest one just looks like the average Jap bike. Perhaps it will be different in the flesh?

  9. Yev they have been doing this for a long time hense id never buy a new ducati model.Id always wait a couple of yrs for the next version which seems to always have the gremlins ironed out.The devaluation always puts me off big time also.Imho now is the time to buy a nice secondhand 999R or 1098R as prices are very good.

Im going to have a good mooch around the NEC show at the new 1299,R1 and Kwaker. What other new models are out this year ?.

  10. new bmw s1000rr matt

  11. Sad way of the world unfortunately, other manufacturers have been doing the same for a long time too, range rovers probably the worst offenders.

  12. i know, just having a moan

  13. Nice one Jimmy also notice they have a new bmw version of ducati multi.Ill have a mooch but due to how ugly they are ive never really been interested in zee German offerings.I really like KTM bikes and they always have a massive stand at NEC so will also check out the latest supermoto and RC8 offerings.

Last time I went to bike show I got to sit on all the new sports bikes and they all felt shite apart from RC8R and 848 corse. The Pani and S1000R were particularly bad.Maybe great for short arses but terrible for me.The 848 was similar to my 916 in position ie perfect for me and seemed to have a bigger reach to the bars.

I hope these 2015 bikes aint getting any smaller.

  14. Did the last model Range Rover not last 10 years?

  15. I wouldn't know but aren't they famous for doing their testing by letting their customers do it for them to find out all the faults?

  16. Yes exactly - but they don't put it right with a new model as the 1299 ;)
