  1. Its auto blipper so clutchless shift up and down: is that on all models?

  2. Carbon termi;s available too. I think i prefer the titanium ones actually unless its a white bike.

  3. I'm really looking forward to seeing some reviews. I'm not one for rider aids but I do hope that the new electronics make the bike a little more manageable at the limit but still keep it's rawness that I really love.

  4. I love toys. Anything that makes you faster and safer has to be a good thing. Even if it all just stops a few accidents that'll reduce insurance claims and should keep premiums down. Either that or people will feel safe and in control when they fly too fast in to a bend and crash at a much higher speed than they would've done without any rider aids
Either way, I'd love to have TC and ABS let alone some of the other toys.

  5. The only thing with all these extra electronic gizmos they keep adding to bikes is a few years down the line when they break how much will they actually cost to fix/replace?

  6. Less than the repair bill that arrives if they weren't there and your confidence exceeds your ability for a moment, or a knucklehead does something daft in the road in front of you in the wet :)

And there is the upside of somewhat increasing your chances of not ending up dead. Must be worth a bob or two?

  7. I don't know how im still alive on my old ducati without all this electronic cack lol.Last few yrs ive rode all through winter on supercorsa sc0 tyres to boot come rain or shine. On horrible winter wet days/evenings when temps are cold or roads covered in salt I just take it steady.Never felt the need for TC or ABS and deffo don't want anti wheelie.Where is the fun in that.

Im with Bunglebuds when it goes wrong and being a ducati it will how much is it gonna be to repair. My money is on ducati parts dept cracking the champagne open when you turn up to pay.Id be more interested if ducati offered there lastest 1299 superbikes in a cheaper no frills version without all the electronic rider aids.

Could call it the Ducati 1299 superreliable

  8. I don't think real time suspension or anti wheelie aids will help you in those situations do you?

  9. I was thinking about this this morning whilst reading MCNs roundup of the latest models. The days of the £10k superbike are now over and all the posh bikes are £15-25k from now on. I hope there will still be something available at £10k that doesn't have all the bells and whistles despite going for the posh bike myself!

  10. On dry winter days when temp are down I actually enjoy getting the rear spinning up at high speeds and same for wheelies. All part of the fun for me.

Yeah royal be nice to be given options - all the electronic rider aids OR full cm composit pre preg carbon fairing kit including fuel tank for less weight id opt for the latter.Im sure they could knock a few thousand pounds off rrp for a basic no frills/rider electronic aids 1299 model.
