Are You A Speeder?

Nothing wrong with speeding per se, its more inappropriate speeding thats an issue.

 

There's no way I speed through town's and villages where the reason for speed limits is blindingly obvious. Apart from ending up banned you're effectively sticking the finger up to residents. I wouldn't like hooligans tearing past my house and I don't inflict it on other people. With a bit of common sense there's plenty of places to get a shift on.
There's speeding and speeding though. I try to ride to get the best from the road, not the speedo.

 

I prefer to call it 'making progress' rather than speeding :Smuggrin:

 

You are all children and need to be told what is good for you and what is bad for you.

Punishment for speeding is a lot like being convicted of a crime you have not yet committed. Nevertheless the laws regarding speeding are generally in place to keep us all safe, and "safe" can only be determined by grown-ups. Speeding isn't inherently dangerous, true, it is inappropriate speeding that is truly dangerous. Since you are all children, you are incapable of determining what is and isn't inappropriate.

I used to speed a lot but I quit as I kept grinding my teeth.

 

should of kept at it, sooner or later you would have no teeth left to grind.
