did i see that in an east london independant ducati workshop last week? really lovely, amazing to think that ducati couldnt sell them when new, they change hands for stupid money now
According to my local MoT tester, starting the bike has NOTHING to do with the MoT........ Very nice Chewy, have you sorted out the front end yet ?
No, I have a 999, but I do import Wilbers Suspension, and the form mod to them makes it a gazillion times better......std forks are a parts bin special but we can make them work much better.....involves new springs, oil and resetting the air gap.......
This is a mod I did to my 06 mono a couple of years ago, springs supplied by nogaromill, and it is worth it. Straight forward DIY job if you don't mind taking the forks out. However you do need to improvise to remove the fork caps.
I have that's what I meant by improvising I made one from your exact instructions and it worked a treat
not convinced that's 100% correct, as the exhaust cannot have any leaks, and doesn't make excessive noise*. How do you test that with the engine off? *My MOT tester didn't think my 900SS on open race cans was excessive!
Well my MoT tester tells me there is NO MoT requirement to start the engine at all........and he never starts mine ( thank god ! )
My local mot shop refuses to test any bike unless it's got standard cans (and standard size numberplate). He has his reasons (he told me them), but he's such a decent bloke, and let's me get away with a lot, so I won't go anywhere else.
