As tittle I'm going to order a 899 in the morning as have wanted one for nearly a year now but due to house and work commitment's haven't been ready until now. So is there any chance of a deal on these at the moment ? What should I be aiming for really as in first service free maybe a seat cowl or is it still you want the bike you pay for it as they are we're so high in demand ? Just after you thoughts really? Thanks lee
For a minute I thought that was what he had written too. To the OP you will be lucky to get much in way of freebies as I think the demand is still high for them. I did get the first 600 mile service at cost (i.e oil etc) which came to about £60 but that was it ... oh wait got free fitting of the Termis too. There's no harm in asking for something though, you never know.
Someone on here said that they got 7% off somewhere but when I mentioned this to my dealer he said he would be shocked if any dealer gave away their entire profit on a bike that was and still is in high demand. He has a spare 899 in red in the showroom now so at this time of year it is worth a phone call to see what he could do especially if you are a cash/pcp buyer. They can only say no. ( Gary 0191 - 2610121 ) I got a good deal buying mine from him when most other dealers were insulting me with my part exchange price.
I have also noticed a £500 increase in price for the white 2015 899? Are there going to be any changes at all because it would be silly to buy one now and miss out on any changes upgrades . Or is this a purely a rise in Price for the new year ? Will ask the sales guy tomorrow but just wondered if you had heard anything ?
I'm ordering mine tomorrow to. My dealer said they are changing the crank on the 2015 model and that's it.
They either won't know or will spin you a line to sell current stock. And tbh it won't matter unless you are Andrea Dovizioso But there again, from your username you could be Kenan Sofuoğlu
It doesn't really matter where you live, I'd ring round some of the smaller dealers and see what you can get, this time of year, if they've got one in stock surely must do a deal. Try Steve at OYB or SMC in Sheffield then use that to go back to your local or preferred dealer. I'd spend the day on the phone first. How about an ex demo ?
My dealer told me that it was just the larger Bike with the changes but the 899 was using its current bodywork etc. Unless someone knows different.
The deal is done  I will have my new white 899 In about a fortnight or so. Can't thank the staff at w m snell enough for there great customer service and help we're very good in every aspect of the sale and there knowledge of the brand is great. I personally thought the deal they gave me was decent and left very happy. In regards to the 15 bike it will indeed have a different part number for the crank, so is great that the bike I'm getting will be a 15 bike although sold in 14 Am having a few little extras fitted inc seat cowl tidy etc for collection can't wait now!
