Storing The 899 In The Winter

  1. Filled it to the brim with fuel and put it on a rear paddock stand, is there anything else I need to do for winter storage?

  2. give me the keys?:upyeah:

  3. Get it used man , no salt yet , use it or is it a garage queen

  4. LOL I put a 700 miles a month on it (weekend use only), can't stop riding it (run in in three days). I saw a salt truck the other day and started thinking about storing it. Did hundred miles today and came back in a sorry state, had to clean for ages. Its depressing not riding it so will probably give in. Revving this bike out is an addiction, the litre bike I had before never gave me this feeling.

  5. First salt went down on my transpennine route to work last week. Damn'blastit.

  6. Does it place more pressure on the front when on rear paddock stand?

  7. Question on this as I'm mechanically inept. My garage has no power, so what's the best way to deal with that if I'm leaving her sitting for a few weeks - pull the battery?

  8. Remove the battery , or get a solar trickle charger and get it in some sunlight (yes i knows it winter)
