nothing jumping out at me the noo. nothing that i can think of right now anyhoo.tuno nice but not o my god nice
Would have been the h2, then I found out it weighs in at 238kg's!! So it'll have to be the H2R, even tho I'll never have one
The Honda might be nice, but that paint is like something out of the early 80s. Appalling! Funny how everyone is desperate to give you even more horsepower that you won't be able to use on the street. It's quite bizarre. Nearly all those bikes are just more of something that was already huge, instead of something sexy and supremely useful. I'd cheerfully have one - until I was nicked and they took it away from me. I wonder if we'll have 250 bhp in 5 or 6 years time.
You might like the Hesketh then. A modest and sensible 125 bhp with a perfectly reasonable 144 ft/lb of torque... at 3000 rpm. That's the way to do it. And 106 decibels. Proper.
Wifey says I have to finish the campervan before I can buy a new bike. I see that as tacit approval to buy a new bike as long as I do the bus....hmmm R1 appeals to me, but the 1299's push button gearchange mechanism is a killer app for me despite not being overly fond of the pani. But I really like that R1....2015 autumn will be interesting...
By the time the van's finished the EU will have banned the manufacture of bikes over 125 bhp and the current crop of 200 bhp bikes will have achieved cult status with prices on the second hand market going through the roof. Makes far more economic sense to buy a new Pani now (in fact buy two, one to ride and one as an investment) and do the camper van later. Far better use of resources. She'll understand.
