Thats why they want Him ££££, Torchio has now opened up and confessed Ducati as a company is now more successful worldwide in sales because Rossi's name sells!! He wants to keep him and they will do everything they can to convince him to stay! But he feels ducati have let him down and they know the GP12 is not good enough! I remember when Kenny roberts wanted Foggy on the yamaha but the title sponsor would not agree! also Doohan tried to get foggy into 500's but failed. WSB 1 GP500 0 in the veiwing figures!
As a Rossi Fan though.... If he leaves Ducati i will loose some respect for him as at the moment they are working hard to sought the bike out and he should now trust them to do this after trying to get Furusawa.. He's not the only great engineer to design a bike. But Perizoso needs to step down imho, Audi will have the last say at the 11th hour though
You reckon he'll stay put at Ducati? So many twists and turns in this saga, great marketing from Rossi and I'm sure Yamaha and Ducati are stoked with the number of exposure/hits they're getting globally. The publicity machine keeps churning ...
Is Ladbrokes running a book on this? They should be. Much more entertaining than the racing. Rossi to Yam. Cal or Dovi to Ducati. Dovi probably.
I think you hit the nail on the head Imola - imho Ducati haven't done everything they can to put a competitive bike under VR becasue Preziosi just hasn't listened. They've done everything Preziosi asked for and that's very different. When VR wante dsofter power delivery, Preziosi gave him just more power. If Ducaudi are ever going to be a force in MotoGp with a bike that all the GP paddock have a chance to do well on when they ride it, Preziosi has to radially change or be replaced....I can't blame VR for Preziosi's decisions...
I would think if Rossi goes to Yamaha he knows he has to prove a point which will give him more incentive. I would like to think hw will at least be in the top 3 on a Yam.
Spies??? What the heck happened to him this season? He can't even blame his bike when his team mate is winning.
