Wondered if anyone else has had this problem on ducati.ms. In the hyper area I posted my under seat mudguard design, thought I'd post on ducati.ms.....see what everyone thought and when I went back at the end of the day Wednesday a few people replied...All good and positive then I went back the next day and the post had gone. Did the post again today stating that it had been deleted and some fucker deleted it again. ...anyone had that. The only thing I thought was someone was trying to rip off my design....or am I paranoid...?
Yep, they don't allow advertising in the threads, so may have thought you were gonna put them up for sale.
On the contrary, it took them 4 days to reply and as matt said they didn't mention not bing able to sell anything but they offered me the option to be a "grass roots seller" - they get a cut....but as I said in my post I wasn't interested in making money out of them....Just flogging enough to pay for mine and the initial cost of the design. Nothing more really. Not sure how it could be shit if it does the job better than the original....
Indeed it would be the nice thing to do, it happened to me also, I mentioned in a thread that I had a spare after market header system for an early 2 valve going spare if someone in NZ wanted to purchase it, and ZIP, the post was gone quick as look at you, no explanation nor warning or anything.
.ms and for that matter, .org are both very good forums with lots of good knowledge. They're much bigger than us too, so maybe they have a much stricter policy. Who knows :-(
Well, it doesn't matter now I know, whatever I get made ill divide by the total cost and stick em on ebay....im not really interesting in going down the corporate route, it was just something that I thought I could fix cos it pissed me off and I did.
